It has come to our attention there are emails circulating, claiming to be from Spin and asking customers to verify their password information via an included web address.
These emails are NOT legitimate mail from us and should be simply discarded.
We will never ask you to visit a website outside our network to update any of your sensitive information. You can do this yourself at any time through our 'My Account' section from the Spin website.
You will notice that the spelling and grammar is typically poor and that there is an impersonal signature. These factors, coupled with the link to somewhere outside of our network, are usually good indicators that the message is a hoax.
There are a few variations on these types of spam, which have a similar purpose or request. Below is a sample of a few such emails currently being sent:

We have become aware of a new variation of a possible phishing scam email being sent to some of our customers. The email will have the subject 'New resume' as well as an attached .zip file. Inside this file is an executable (.exe) file disguised as a resume document which may cause harm or open security vulnerabilities to your computer if opened. If you do receive this email to your Spin email address, please disregard and delete immediately. The email appears to have been sent to multiply address's and is not targeting specific individuals.
Below is an example of what the new scam email may look like.
